Two Bride Wedding at The Tetley Leeds
I’ve always admired The Tetley at Leeds, it’s just such an iconic building and don’t get me started on that wood panelled boardroom, LOVE! So, when Rachael & Charlotte asked me to photograph their wedding in it I was delighted.
The vibe at the Tetley is very chilled and I loved how we got to move around the building for different elements of the wedding day. In terms of photos, this venue has so many options creative & obvious ones, it’s a real photographer’s playground.
The ladies choose to start their day getting ready at The Marriott hotel in Leeds then everyone grabbed taxis to the Tetley. Once there Rachael & Charlotte shared a ‘first look’ moment in the board room. Aww, this moment was so tender, words can’t describe, so I’ll say no more. They had a few photos then onto the ‘I do’s’. The ceremony was complemented with two readings from friends and then back out into the board room for five mins time out & a quick pint of Guinness (in a Tetley building, I know!)
Guests were invited downstairs for tea & scones whilst the family photos were being taken and then before we knew it the wedding breakfast was ready. Speeches were heard before the meal whilst guests sat at tables decorated with whiskey bottles filled with thistles, gypsophila & eucalyptus. Little did Charlotte & Rachael know that Rachael’s mum had secretly booked some singing waiters for the meal and this went down an absolute storm with the guests. Hopefully the smiles in the photos show how much everyone enjoyed it!
Thanks so much for booking me Rachael & Charlotte, photographing at the Tetley was on my bucket list, now officially ticked!
